Grounded Viewpoint
Current events show a clash of power, patriotism and profound suffering; Scripture summons Christians to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9) and to defend the vulnerable while grieving the innocent (Isaiah 1:17; James 1:27). The Christian response is not uncritical nationalism or celebratory militarism but repentance, lament for civilian loss, fervent prayer for leaders and victims, and active work toward justice and reconciliation.
