Social media today amplifies both truth and harm: Scripture calls us to defend the vulnerable, reject false witness, and pursue wise stewardship of our speech and influence (e.g., commands against bearing false testimony and exhortations to love our neighbor). These stories—nonconsensual AI abuse, dangerous health misinformation, and the cruelty of rumor and slander—demand Christian discernment, advocacy for justice and protection, and compassionate care for those wounded by public shaming and deception.
