Recent events remind us that God values justice and the dignity of every person, as reflected in Micah 6:8 ('What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.'). The ongoing repression, executions, and denial of basic freedoms in Iran and Venezuela call believers to pray and advocate for the oppressed, echoing biblical commands to 'speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves' (Proverbs 31:8). These struggles highlight the need for courage and hope, trusting that Christ stands with the persecuted and calls His people to seek justice and mercy.
