Terrorist violence exposes the depth of human sin and the brokenness of our world, calling Christians to mourn with those who suffer (Romans 12:15) and to seek justice and protection for the vulnerable (Micah 6:8; Isaiah 1:17). At the same time Scripture urges prayer for leaders and for the peace of our cities (1 Timothy 2:1–2; Psalm 122) and challenges believers to be peacemakers and instruments of mercy amid conflict (Matthew 5:9; Romans 12:21).
