Lawmakers Seek Answers on ICE Hunger Strikers
Seven congressional Democrats sent a letter to DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin and ICE acting director David Venturella demanding answers about conditions at a Texas immigration detention facility. Detained immigrants there say they are on a prolonged hunger strike and allege retaliation and threats of force-feeding.
