Rising gas prices driven by conflict and supply shocks expose how global instability can quickly burden ordinary households, calling Christians to practical stewardship and compassionate care for the poor and vulnerable who suffer most. At the same time Scripture reminds us of God’s sovereignty over nations and the call to pursue justice and peace rather than place our ultimate trust in fleeting security or political power (see Matthew 6; Micah 6:8).
